With the completion of Problem Set #52, I now have one year’s worth of weekly problem sets with answers and video solutions. I will continue to post problem sets periodically, but perhaps not quite so regularly. For the rest of the summer I plan to change my focus to posting lessons. I know many of you may be anticipating math competitions in the fall. This is a great place to hone your skills. You can start with the lessons I’ve already posted: Counting Lists of Numbers and Arithmetic Series and Sequences. Look for more lessons over the next few weeks: Algebraic Methods of Arithmetic, Divisibility Rules, Venn Diagrams, The Fundamental Counting Principle, and more. These lessons will be geared toward middle school students or high school students just starting out or reviewing the basics. Spread the word!
About the Club…Challenge your mathematical problem solving skills with problems similar to those found on math contests such as the AMC 8, AMC 10, MATHCOUNTS, or the middle school math olympiads. I post a problem set each week, and then come back later in the week and post the answers and video solutions.
